What is required for me to connect?
Simply changing the existing telephone number in your PC's dialer is all that is required to connect to FastFreeDialup.com. There is no software to download and install, no adware, spyware, or browser plugins to add to your computer. Just change the number and get connected to fast, stable, reliable Internet access. All of your normal Internet-based programs will function normally as they did before, including your Instant Messenger programs.

Where do I sign-up for access?
There isn't one! Really! There is no reason to sign-up for anything. We don't need your information. We aren't selling you anything. There is no contractual relationship here. This is free dial-up Internet access, plain and simple, and any username and password will work, even whatever already exists in your dial-up connections. All you need change is your the dial-up telephone number to one of our local numbers. And if you want to use a completely new username and password, then go ahead and use something generic like a username of anonymous and a password of password. It really is that simple.

Can I phone technical support should I have a question?
Alas, we cannot provide technical support via the phone. As a free service, it is impossible for us to cover the cost of the phone lines and personnel necessary to staff a full-time technical support department. But we are confident that you will find the service to be one of, if not the most reliable dial-up Internet access you've ever experienced. And since we don't provide services such as web hosting (which you can get for free from many places on the Internet) or email (which you can also get for free, see the section to your right), there really is nothing to break. We are already monitoring the dial access network 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in order to maintain maximum uptime. If you still do have a question that you would like help with, you can contact us and someone will respond as soon as they are able.

This is a great idea...how can I help?
Fantastic question. As you can imagine, our advertising budget is essentially nothing, so we have to rely on old-fashioned grassroots marketing, such as spread-the-word campaigns. If you like what you see, by all means tell someone else. Whether you use dial-up or not, the more people you tell, the greater the chance that the message will ultimately get to someone who is in need of our service. And that's the whole point of this endeavor anyway.

Are you going to expand your coverage areas?
If this service is well received and the market welcomes it, then it will help us in our efforts to continue to expand coverage. With this particular model, the more traffic we have, the more attractive we become as a presence on the Internet, which in turn allows us to grow into even more markets. If you are interested in this model or have some suggestions as to how we can improve, then please drop us a line as we would love to hear from you.

But how do I change my access number?
We will be adding some help information in the near future to assist those of you who are unsure of how to change your dial-up access number, but an example of how to do this on Windows XP can be found here. The only part that really matters is at Step #14 where you would be putting in one of our local access numbers!
Do you need an email account? There are several free email services out there, but the best we have found are the following major providers. All offer comprehensive tools and spam blockers. And you can access these accounts from any computer anywhere in the world, ensuring you can remain in constant communication. And again, these are completely free services, too.

If the only email account you have is the one provided by your Internet Service Provider, then you are somewhat beholden to them. If you want to change to a different ISP, you have to go through the torturous process of changing your email address. And most people won't bother, and ultimately become a captive customer of the ISP. But by getting a permanent and free email account from one of the providers listed below, you can FREE YOURSELF and never again be hindered from making the best decisions when it comes to switching providers. Do yourself a favor and make the email switch now...you'll never have to switch again.

Google's Gmail

Microsoft's Hotmail

Yahoo! Mail

AOL Email

Mail.com

Please note, the list of email providers above is by no means comprehensive, but they have proven to be the largest, safest, and most reliable of all the free email providers, and have been doing so for many years.
